When Falmouth Divers won the contract to renew the subsea power cables to the largest Wind Generators in the UK off the Northumberland coast at Blyth, they came to FHP, providers of subsea and offshore cable laying, and to see if we had the equipment to control the cable as it left the reel and was layed on the sea bed.

FHP hired one of their 2-Pair Linear Cable Engines and a Powered Drum Reeler with a render facility.

With a fortunate weather window and the right equipment Falmouth Divers completed the project on time.
