Wandfluh supply a range of high quality hydraulic valves to FHP for safe and hazardous area applications, FHP have an existing relationship with Wandfluh and in order to extend FHP’s appreciation of the development of new products, Wandfluh offered us the opportunity for some product training. The offer was accepted and the first of the FHP staff paid a 4 day visit to Wandfluh in late March 2008.

Peter Fraser and 3 Technical staff from FHP attended the bespoke Product training course with Wandfluh at their Manufacturing Facility in Frutigen, Switzerland. The training focused on the new generation of Proportional Valves and their Control Cards including the new SD6... The quality of training was equally matched by the hospitality provided by Wandfluh and should prove mutually beneficial for both companies.

In addition to the training and the factory tour the visitors were encouraged to try the Local food and wines with visits to Local restaurants most of which were located at relatively high altitude providing stunning views of valleys and snow covered mountains.

The entire visit was a good mix of providing Technical Training and hospitality. The other 4 staff members are now looking forward to a visit with training in the near future.
